Leading up to the 2023-24 NFL season, I laid out my predictions for every team, comparing to last year’s prediction and looking at the changes the teams made heading in to this season. Finally, I’d present each team with a win-loss prediction.

Unfortunately due to time and life constraints, I never got my NFC South or NFC West predictions out. I’m not going to waste anyone’s time writing out nuanced previews, now that we’re four weeks in to the season, but the win-loss predictions were still made, as I had to make sure the number of wins across the NFL added up to 272.

Without further ado, here are my predictions for the NFC South and NFC West from a preseason point-of-view.

NFC South

  1. New Orleans Saints (9-8)
  2. Carolina Panthers (7-10)
  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-11)
  4. Atlanta Falcons (4-13)

NFC West

  1. San Francisco 49ers (13-4)
  2. Seattle Seahawks (10-7)
  3. Los Angeles Rams (8-9)
  4. Arizona Cardinals (5-12)
