Week 15 of the 2023-24 NFL season is in the books, and with three weeks left to play in the regular season, getting hot now matters.

Take the Cincinnati Bengals, who have won three games in a row with Jake Browning at quarterback after losing Joe Burrow for the season. Even better, the three teams the Bengals topped are all playoff contenders as well: the Jaguars, Colts, and last Saturday, the Minnesota Vikings, in overtime. The Bengals have a tendency to heat up this time of year, but many thought this year’s team would be left for dead without their Pro Bowl quarterback.

After not looking like themselves for much of the season so far, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are figuring things out as well. The Bills have won three of four games, beat the Kansas City Chiefs on the road last week, and in Week 15, Buffalo defeated a red-hot Dallas Cowboys team 31-10 to officially climb back into playoff positioning after being 5-5 earlier this year.

Teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins? Well they’ve been “hot” all year, and kept their foot on the gas in Week 15, blowing out the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Jets, respectively.
