Through five weeks, two undefeated teams remain, both in the NFC: the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles. These teams have both also made the Super Bowl in the last four seasons, and are aiming to get back to football’s biggest stage.

Of course, both teams were thwarted in the Super Bowl by the Kansas City Chiefs, the #3 team in this week’s Power Rankings, and a perpetual threat so long as Patrick Mahomes takes the field.

That’s not to say there isn’t other contenders. The 4-1 Detroit Lions look like they’re for real, and the 4-1 Miami Dolphins and 3-2 Buffalo Bills both posses lethal offenses.

After that, there’s some above average but flawed teams: the 3-1 Seattle Seahawks, 3-2 Dallas Cowboys, and 3-2 Baltimore Ravens come to mind.
