The second week of 2023-24 NFL action, some juggernauts from last season bounced back, other would-be elite teams continue to struggle, and a few teams are pleasantly surprising with their 2-0 starts.
The San Francisco 49ers top my list for the second straight week, but the Los Angeles Rams have already proved they won’t be the same pushovers they were at the end of last season.
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs got back in the win column after a Week 1 shocker, albeit in a low-scoring 17-9 affair with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buffalo Bills also earned a win after a Week 1 upset, stomping the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10.
In all honesty, Week 2’s results didn’t change too much at the top of my Power Rankings, but the rest of the standings did shuffle a bit: as my opinion shifted on teams like the Tennessee Titans, Washington Commanders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Atlanta Falcons.
