Here’s another no-frills, straight-up weekly NFL pick article from me. I want to get back in to more nuanced articles and predictions, but not only one but two cross-country road trips prevented me from staying on top of things.

This article will be published by 3:00 PM ET but fear not, I tweeted out my predictions before the games started. So when I go 16-for-16 with some exact scores right, you can check back on my Twitter @SakSports for the proof.

Season Record: 15-16-1 (48%)

My season is off to a pretty lackluster start, but the first two weeks are usually the hardest to pick. I have no regrets picking the Browns over the Jets, Colts over Jaguars, Bengals over Cowboys, Ravens over Dolphins or Cardinals over Raiders: those were some pretty good upsets. I probably could have been a little smarter and not picked the Vikings, Steelers, Panthers though.
