Week 11 of the 2023-24 NFL season had some high stakes matchups and some intriguing, sending ripple effects in this week’s Power Rankings.
The Baltimore Ravens won handily on Thursday Night Football to improve to an elite 8-3, with the Cincinnati Bengals both falling to 5-5 and losing star quarterback Joe Burrow in the process. As a result the Ravens have a strong hold on first place in the AFC North, even with talented Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns teams right behind them.
In the marquee matchup of the week, a Super Bowl 57 rematch, the Philadelphia Eagles came back for a 21-17 win to improve to 9-1, not allowing a single point to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the second half. If there was any doubts that Philadelphia is the best team in the league right now, they were put to rest as the Eagles downed the 7-2 Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium.
In other key matchups, the Dorian Thompson-Robinson-led Cleveland Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 13-10 in a slugfest, the Detroit Lions scores 17 points in the fourth quarter to avoid a home loss to the Chicago Bears, and the Denver Broncos battled their way to an ugly but effective win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
