Before you even know it, we’ll be halfway through the 2023-24 NFL regular season in a couple of weeks. The season is flying by, and so is my free time: I don’t have a solid excuse for these picks coming in late for the second week in a row (last week, I was away from home and more of an excuse.)

Nevertheless, I jotted down my NFL score predictions as usual, with my eyes particularly on key matchups such as:

• 5-1 Detroit Lions at 4-2 Baltimore Ravens
• 2-3 Los Angeles Chargers at 5-1 Kansas City Chiefs
• SNF: 5-1 Miami Dolphins at 5-1 Philadelphia Eagles

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) at New Orleans Saints (3-3): Obviously the Jacksonville Jaguars’ chances of victory go down if Trevor Lawrence can’t play, but the New Orleans Saints seem to be sputtering a bit either way. Jaguars win 27-20

Sunday Games

Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) at Chicago Bears (1-5): In the battle of backups, the team that relies less on their quarterback will ultimately come out on top. Raiders win 20-17

Cleveland Browns (3-2) at Indianapolis Colts (3-3): Browns win 24-17

Buffalo Bills (4-2) at New England Patriots (1-5): Bills win 42-13

Washington Commanders (3-3) at New York Giants (1-5): Commanders win 23-16

Detroit Lions (5-1) at Baltimore Ravens (4-2): Ravens win 30-24

Atlanta Falcons (3-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2): Buccaneers win 23-20

Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) at Los Angeles Rams (3-3): Rams win 27-24

Arizona Cardinals (1-5) at Seattle Seahawks (3-2): Seahawks win 31-17

Green Bay Packers (2-3) at Denver Broncos (1-5): Packers win 17-16

Los Angeles Chargers (2-3) at Kansas City Chiefs (5-1): Chiefs win 33-20
