Week 6 had some absolutely wacky results. The San Francisco 49ers, banged up in the second half, fell to a Cleveland Browns team led by backup quarterback P.J. Walker. The previously undefeated Philadelphia Eagles fell late to the New York Jets.

In other noteworthy games, rookie C.J. Stroud pushed the Houston Texans to 3-3 with a win over the New Orleans Saints, pushing Houston to a season-high 15th ranking.

In what may seem controversial, the 49ers actually retain the top ranking for the sixth straight week despite the loss. After all, there are now three 5-1 teams in the NFL, and I still like them and their overall body of work the best. Putting the Kansas City Chiefs at #2 over the Eagles was a tougher decision, and in part weighs in the decency of Philadelphia’s loss as opposed to Kansas City’s Week 1 loss.

The Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, and New England Patriots make up the bottom of the barrel and essentially the league’s only non-competitive teams: who comes in at #32 this week?
