It’s hard to believe there’s just four weeks left in the 2025-26 NFL regular season already. Every team still eligible for playoff contention will have high stakes as the playoff field is still yet to be set. And bye weeks, be gone, as all 32 teams are in action each week from here on out.
The layout of Week 15 is a little interesting: the three primetime games aren’t that interesting, each featuring a team with a losing record. But Sunday’s early and afternoon slots have some of the best matchups we’ve seen, on paper, this season so far.
In the Sakmann Sports Game of the Week, Drake Maye and the 11-2 New England Patriots will look to put the AFC East away as they host Josh Allen and the 9-4 Buffalo Bills, but Buffalo could make things interesting with a win.
For what seems like the third or fourth straight week, Patrick Mahomes and the 6-7 Kansas City Chiefs have one more chance to turn their season around as they host Justin Herbert and the 9-4 Los Angeles Chargers, an AFC West matchup that often brings offensive fireworks.
In the afternoon slot, Jordan Love and the 9-3-1 Green Bay Packers will look to keep the pace atop the NFC North, but they’re tasked with going on the road to face Bo Nix and the 11-2 Denver Broncos, winners of ten straight games and undefeated at home this season.
Jared Goff and the 8-5 Detroit Lions will also be looking for a big road win over Matthew Stafford and the 10-3 Los Angeles Rams, who have their eyes set on the NFC West crown as well as the NFC’s #1 overall seed.
