The results of the NFL’s Week 13 games have thrown my Power Rankings in to a frenzy. On Thanksgiving Day alone, there there three upsets, with the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals walking away with wins over the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, and Baltimore Ravens, respectively.

There’s a new team at the top: is it Drake Maye and the 11-2 New England Patriots, who handled Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants with ease on Monday Night Football, or Bo Nix and the 10-2 Denver Broncos, who defeated Marcus Mariota and the Washington Commanders by the slimmest of margins in overtime on Sunday Night Football?

The reason for a new #1 is last week’s top team, Matthew Stafford’s Los Angeles Rams, falling to Bryce Young and the now 7-6 Carolina Panthers in an unlikely shootout. Daniel Jones, Jonathan Taylor, and the Indianapolis Colts, who held the top spot for much of the season, are starting to fade away after their second straight loss, this week to the surging Houston Texans.

Other teams with stock on the rise include the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Chargers. Teams that are fading at the wrong time include the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs: all heavyweights from last year’s postseason.
