Week 2 is often the hardest week of the NFL season to predict. How many teams are exactly the team that came out in Week 1, and how many teams are actually better or worse than we think, but just good a good or bad matchup in Week 1?

For example, will the Las Vegas Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, or Pittsburgh Steelers extend their starts to 2-0? Or did they just play poor opponents (New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, New York Jets) in Week 1? On the flip side, one of those four teams in the second group could start a winning streak this week: maybe Week 1 was just a fluke.

Predicting Week 2 takes a mix of last year’s results, offseason moves, and a sprinkle of Week 1 outcomes.

Week 2’s heaviest-hitting matchups include an NFC clash on Thursday Night Football: Jayden Daniels and the 1-0 Washington Commanders taking on Jordan Love and the 1-0 Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, as well as a Super Bowl 59 rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

Picks Record

Week 1: 10-6

Season Record: 10-6 (63%)

Thursday Night Football

(Sporting News)

Sak Sports Blog Game of the Week Washington Commanders (1-0) at Green Bay Packers (1-0): I’m picking this matchup as the game of the week over the Super Bowl 59 rematch. That game wasn’t exactly close, and the Chiefs might not even be at full strength now. Anyways, the Washington Commanders and Green Bay Packers are two of the best teams in the NFC, both with a real shot to represent the conference in the Super Bowl. Jayden Daniels vs. Jordan Love, as well as seeing Micah Parsons in a Packers uniform in the national spotlight. Give me the Packers at home, though Washington will certainly try to give Green Bay a run for their money. Packers win 30-27
