The 2024-25 NFL Playoffs are here, and while the bracket isn’t as easy to follow as March Madness or other traditional brackets, it’s still fun to predict how everything will shake out: just as I’ve done every year for the last few years.

Be sure to check those out as well to show how I’ve done in the past:

Bonus Predictions

The next five likeliest Super Bowl 59 matchups I see:

  • Kansas City Chiefs vs. Detroit Lions: The chalk, #1 vs. #1 matchup. I would take the Chiefs, but America would certainly be rooting for Detroit.
  • Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions: Would be an incredible matchup of two great teams with high-powered offenses, and it would guarantee a first-time Super Bowl winner. Would be a toss-up, but I’d go with Buffalo.
  • Baltimore Ravens vs. Philadelphia Eagles: This would be a very exciting matchup featuring Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and Derrick Henry. Maybe Baltimore wins, maybe Philadelphia does, I honestly don’t know.
  • Baltimore Ravens vs. Detroit Lions: Much like the last matchup, but with the Lions carrying that underdog, never won-a-Super Bowl mentality. Lamar Jackson would personally be vying for his first.
  • Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles: This all-East Coast matchup would have ratings galore as Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen go head-to-head. Another toss-up, in which case I’ll take a strong Buffalo team once again.
