Week 5 of the 2024-25 NFL Season brings plenty of heavy-hitting and interesting matchups. Some teams are pushing for red-hot 4-1 or even 5-0 starts, while other playoff hopefuls are hoping to not fall in to ugly 1-4 or 2-3 holes early in the season.

Week 5 kicks off with Thursday Night Football as Baker Mayfield and the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers hit the road to take on Kirk Cousins and the 2-2 Atlanta Falcons in an important early season NFC South tilt.

Early on Sunday morning, NFL fans across the pond in the United Kingdom will be treated to a great matchup: Aaron Rodgers and the 2-2 New York Jets taking on their former quarterback, Sam Darnold, and his undefeated, 4-0 Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Throughout Sunday’s normal, state-side slate, the 2-2 Baltimore Ravens will look to put the 1-3 Cincinnati Bengals in a tough situation, Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders look to improve to 4-1 with a win at home over the 1-3 Cleveland Browns, and in the Sak Sports Blog Game of the Week, Josh Allen and the 3-1 Buffalo Bills take on C.J. Stroud and the 3-1 Houston Texans, in Houston, in an early battle for AFC supremacy.

Finally, in a juicy pair of primetime games, Dak Prescott and the 2-2 Dallas Cowboys will look to shake off a so-so start to the season, against Justin Fields and an upstart 3-1 Pittsburgh Steelers squad. On Monday Night Football, a 2-2 but high-powered New Orleans Saints team travels to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Kansas City Chiefs are 4-0, but how far can they push their undefeated start as the offense loses weapons left and right?
