After a couple of weeks off from Power Rankings, a lot has changed, and we have some new rankings hot off the presses.

I last ranked all 32 teams after Week 8 of the 2024-25 NFL season, with the undefeated 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs holding the top spot in that week’s edition. The Chiefs have since lost a game, to the Buffalo Bills, and are now tied for the best record in the NFL with the red-hot Detroit Lions. Which team takes the top spot in my Post-Week 12 Power Rankings?

The Top 10 does feature largely the same teams, though the order has been shaken up. The Philadelphia Eagles have won four straight games since my last rankings, catapulting up the list from the bottom of the Top 10. The Houston Texans and Washington Commanders have disappointed in the win column over the last four weeks (both with 1-3 records), but have remained competitive and stay just within the Top 10 for now.

Teams gaining grounds towards that Top 10 include Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos, who improved to 7-5 on the season last week and nearly beat Kansas City a few weeks ago, Kyler Murray’s Arizona Cardinals, Justin Herbert’s Los Angeles Chargers, and the Miami Dolphins with a healthy Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback.

Some teams have won one or no games in the last four weeks, killing upstart hope their season may have had. Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears have gone from 4-3 to 4-7 since my last rankings, the banged-up San Francisco 49ers have only improved to 4-4 to 5-6, and the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, and Cincinnati Bengals have won just one game each.
