So far, 2020 has brought us new albums from Eminem, Mac Miller, and Moneybagg Yo. But things are set to heat up more as January comes to a close, with albums and singles set to release on the month’s final day.

Headlining the pack is easily Lil Wayne’s upcoming album Funeral. The long-awaited and rumored album was officially teased on Wayne’s Instagram on January 23, with a speedy release date on January 31 the following week.

Funeral will be Wayne’s 13th studio commercial album. following the release of Tha Carter V in September 2018. The album will look to be the rapper’s 8th straight album to reach the top three of the Billboard 200.

Somehow, Russ is ahead of Lil Wayne in studio albums, as the rapper will release his 14th studio album, Shake the Snow Globe. 

Other rappers set to release albums include:

  • Key Glock, Yellow Tape
  • Yo Gotti, UNTRAPPED

Along with these album releases, a myriad of singles are expected to drop as well.

A Boogie wit da Hoodie will release “King of my City,” which may or may not be related to this clip where he raps about being like LeBron James.

Other singles announced and/or anticipated to release include:

  • “Diva” by The Kid LAROI featuring Lil Tecca
  • “K Lo K” by Tory Lanez featuring Fivio Foreign
  • “No Service in the Hills” by Cheat Codes featuring Trippie Redd and Blackbear
  • An untitled Young Thug song produced by Bricks
  • “PERC 300” by Lil Gnar
  • “Wake Up Call” by KSI featuring Trippie Redd
  • “Just Want You (Remix)” by YNW BSlime featuring Lil Yachty
  • “2020 Vision” by Young M.A
  • “A-Team (You Ain’t Safe)” by Zaytoven, Lil Keed & Lil Yachty featuring Lil Gotit
