To celebrate Black History Month and in celebration of a decorated awards season, Black Panther will be available to see in select AMC Theaters, free of charge, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
From February 1-7, fans will be able to reserve a free ticket online. An email address is required for conformation and details once you claim your free spot.
Chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Robert Iger, announced the deal on Twitter in collaboration with AMC Theaters. He also announced a donation to UNCF, “the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization.”
The promotion spans the United States and will include 250 participating AMC theaters. To check if your location is available and reserve your free tickets, click here.
Black Panther captivated audiences around the worldwide and made history as the first superhero film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. In the United States and Canada alone, the cultural phenomenon of the film propelled it to $700.1 million in the box office, and $1.347 billion worldwide.
